Planning a bachelorette party is both fun and tedious, but it is worth the effort when the bride happy. I planned a bachelorette party in Temecula, CA for my sister who getting married in December. Temecula is a two-hour drive from LA and a 1-hour drive from San Diego. Temecula and the surrounding area has great wineries, an old town area with bars, top-notch day spas, and has beautiful Airbnbs and hotels.
As someone who been in a number of bridal parties, I have 3 simple tips. My number one tip is to ask for the bride’s expectation. Ask how the bride has pictured her bachelorette, what she would like to do, and the kind of mood (wild vs relaxing). The second tip is to try to arrange plans that make payments easier. Where it’s either pre-paid or can be paid individually, to avoid trying to figure how to split a bill later. And tip number three, send out an itinerary to all attendees ahead of time, so everyone is on the same page. Also, it allows guests to opt-in or out of some events if they can’t make it to everything.
As for my sister, she wanted a girl’s retreat that was centered around fun and relaxing. Therefore I planned a winery tasting tour from Rockin’ Wine Tour. The tour included a cheese platter, six tastings for three wineries, plenty champagne, and an awesome tour guide. Next, we headed to our glamping stay at Keys Creek Lavender Farm. The farm helped me arrange a private 3-course farm to table dinner during sunset. The food was amazing and it felt personalized. We ended the night with games, face masks, and having fun.
