The Orange County is most well known for two things Disneyland and MTV Laguna Beach reality show. In the last few years, they have been killing it with their food scene. There are some many Instagram-able foodie places that it’s hard to hit them all, especially without gaining weight. Here are the places in Orange County that you must try if you are ever in town.
Anaheim Packing District
This is probably one of the most well know foodie destinations in the OC. Anaheim Packing District has so many options of food to choose from, it’s hard to just have one. Here you can spend the day going to different stalls and ordering their unique dish. Some of the more popular stalls are the Pop Bar, handcrafted gelato on a stick and Snow Monster, unique dessert drinks. There is even a hidden speakeasy called The Blind Rabbit.
The Dirty Cookie
Personally, I’m a huge cookie fan! It’s my weakness. This cookie shop, The Dirty Cookie, has figured out how to make cookies into cups and filled with milk. This saves me time from having to dip my cookie. They have multiple flavors like red velvet, matcha, and chocolate with sprinkles. This is heaven.
Honey N Butter Macarons
Macarons turned into cute characters, these screams take a photo of me! Honey N Butter offers unique flavors like French Toast Crunch and Nutella, but also unique designs, like Disney and superhero characters. The hardest decision will be when your order is up, do I take a photo or stuff it in my mouth.
Disneyland foodie
If you’re in town then it’s likely it because you’re going to Disneyland. While you are in the park check out some of the best places in OC. The most popular is the Dole Whip at the Tiki Juice Bar or the Mickey Beignets at the Mint Julep Bar. Here is an article about the best dishes in Disneyland to try (Link).
626 Night Market
If you have never heard of a night market, it’s probably because it’s more popular in Asian countries. The night market is where people hang out in the evening, grab food, and shop. In places like Taiwan, this is where you try unique specialties and street food. The 626 Night Market brought this phenomenon to the OC and LA scene. During the summer months, the night market provides foodies for a reason to enjoy one-of-kind treats like Paraiso Juice Bar or Ice cream Gardena. Both not usually found in your typical fair foods.

Really enjoyed your post! I’m always open to trying new food places. If I’m ever in OC I will definitely come back to this blog post and try some of these out. Really interested in The Dirty Cookie. Especially because you mentioned they served Matcha cookies as well! I’m so there!
