As there so many diet fads out there, keto, whole 30, IIFYM, raw vegan, paleo and many others, its hard to tell which one works for you. In my opinion, any step closer to eating healthier is a great diet. While are these diets promote different agendas, the underline is all the same. Eat foods in the natural state, without preservatives, and with lots of nutrients. Therefore when looking for something good to eat, I try to make meals that fit this criteria. Ingredients
- 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 1/2 red onion diced
- 12 slices of bacon
- 1 cup of raisins, cranberries or sliced grapes (or a mix of all three)
- 1/4 cup of sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup of toasted almonds
- 1/2 cup of Tasty Lovely whole 30 mayonnaise or 1/4 cup of avacado oil and 1/4 cup of mayonaise
- 2 tablespoon balsamic vinaigrette
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- salt and pepper for seasoning
Instructions
- Combine broccoli, onion, bacon, raisins, toasted almonds and sunflower seeds in a bowl
- Whisk mayonnaise, mustard, and balsamic vinaigrette together in a bowl until dressing is smooth; pour over broccoli mixture and stir to coat.
