I’m a big believer in balance. Having to balance the healthy and unhealthy food, while leaning more on natural, whole food as the main source. So if your looking for a healthy, but delicious night in for valentines, here are four natural recipes and best part they all consist of 4 ingrediants.
Roasted Chick Pea Crunch – A great alternative to popcorn, with this recipe all you need is:
- 2 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chilli pepper or lemon pepper (another seasoning)
- pinch of salt
- 15 oz can of chickpeas
Preheat the oven at 350 degrees. Drain the can of chickpeas. Whisk the oil with the seasoning, add the chickpeas, and lay them on a baking sheet. Roast for 45 minutes till golden brown.
Kale Chips – A great alternative to potato chips, with this recipe all you need is:
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- bunch of kale
- 1 teaspoon of seasalt
Preheat the oven at 350 degrees. Use a knife to remove the kale leaves from the stems, rince and dry. Lay out the kale leaves on a baking sheet, drizzle the oil and sprinkle the salt. Bake for 10 minutes till edges are brown.
Fried Cinnamon Bananas – A great alternative to chocolate, with this recipe all you need is:
- 2 Bananas
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 2 tablespoon of coconut oil
Add the cinnamon, honey, coconut oil to a frying pan on low-medium heat. Once all mixed and warm, add the diced bananas. Allow them to fry for about 4-5 minutes, moving them around and flipping them. Once all coated and brown, let them cool, and enjoy.

- 4 packets of gelatin
- 1 scoop of BCAA
- 1/2 cup of warm water
