I try to recreate the autumn feeling anyway possible here in LA. One way is to have anything pumpkin flavored. Therefore I made a pumpkin cinnamon latte to bring a bit of the fall season to my mornings.
Ingredients (for 2 cups):
1/4 cup of Pumpkin puree
cinnamon sticks
1 cup of water
4 cups of any milk (I used Fairlife Low Fat Milk)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 tbsp of sweater of choice (I used natural cane sugar)
1/4 cup of Pumpkin puree
cinnamon sticks
1 cup of water
4 cups of any milk (I used Fairlife Low Fat Milk)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 tbsp of sweater of choice (I used natural cane sugar)
Instructions:
1. Boil cinnamon sticks and water to make cinnamon tea.
2. Strain the tea and pour into a blender.
3. Add the pumpkin puree into the blender and blend until all the clumps are removed.
3. Add the milk, vanilla extract, and sweetener into a pot. Warm the liquid until close to boil.
4. Combine the pumpkin-cinnamon tea and warm milk.
