These protein pumpkin bites are great to have in the freezer when craving something sweet. Eating healthy is harder than sometimes made out to look. It is hard to avoid temptations, especially when it is staring at you in the face. My sister and I both have a HUGE sweet tooth and sometimes fruit doesn’t cut it. Having little treats, like these protein pumpkin bites, in the fridge helps with the temptation.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of oatmeal
- 1/4 cup of natural nut butter
- 1 scoop protein of choice
- 3/4 cup of organic pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
Directions: Mix all in bowl. Scoop approx 1/4 cup and roll into a bowl. Line a plate with wax paper and place the protein pumpkin bites. Freeze for approximately 30 mins and enjoy
