I can’t believe we are now halfway through 2016! Although my sister’s and I are creatures of habit, we do find ourselves obsessed with new discoveries. Here are our July Fitness Favorites.
While Danni has been taking Amino Energy from Optimum Nutrition for a while now, we just discovered they have flavors like vanilla latte, iced chai tea, and iced mocha cappuccino. Not only do we get our energy boost before a workout, but it’s like having a Starbucks drink.
My sister and I go through cycles of new ways to incorporate cardio. Although we love taking spin classes, it’s been hard to find a class to fit our schedule. We recently have been using Assault Air Bike at our gym. They have interval options that guide you through a quick HITT workout. This is an amazing alternative for a quick cardio session that leaves your legs burning.
This might be a strange favorite, but we recently watched the CrossFit Game Championships on ESPN. Watching the women compete was inspiring. I love the power that women like Katrin Tanja and Brooke Ence possess. They also show the world that having muscles is sexy and badass all at the same time.
